The OptiX RTN950 is anew generation integrated microwave transmission system developed by Huawei, which can be installed easily and configured flexibly. It supports the convergence of up to 10 radio links, and supports multiple protection schemes.The OptiX RTN 950 provides ageneric platform forTDM/Hybrid/Packet/Routing microwave transmission. The platform provide various service interfaces, large bandwidth, and easy scalability. It provides a seamless microwave transmission solution for mobile communication network or private networks.
The OptiX RTN 900 series provide various service interfaces and can be installed easily and configured flexibly. The OptiX RTN 900 series provide a solution that can integrate TDM microwave, Hybrid microwave, Packet microwave, and Routing microwave technologies according to the networking scheme for the sites, achieving smooth upgrade from TDM microwave to Hybrid microwave, from Hybrid microwave to Packet microwave, and from Packet microwave to Routing microwave. This solution meets the transmission requirements of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G services while also allowing for network evolution and convergence.
There are some types of OptiX RTN 900 Packet microwave products: OptiX RTN 910A, OptiX RTN 905, OptiX RTN 905 s, OptiX RTN 910, OptiX RTN 950, OptiX RTN 950A, and OptiX RTN 980. Users can choose the product as required.
5G Microwave
The OptiX RTN 950 launched by Huawei is the industry's first 5G microwave device. The OptiX RTN 950 adopts a range of technologies such as MIMO, CA, SDN, 8KQAM modulation, and super dual band microwave (common-band and E-band microwave) to provide transmission bandwidths of up to 10 Gbit/s. Using Huawei's next-generation chips and optimization algorithms, the OptiX RTN 950 reduces single-hop latency from hundreds of microseconds to tens of microseconds, which is far lower than the latency requirement of 5G on bearer networks. The innovative modular antenna enables smooth evolution to 5G networks without changing the antenna installation platform or replacing the boards rather than the 10GE IDU subrack, maximizing the return on investment (ROI) in live networks. In addition, based on Huawei's All-Cloud network architecture, the 5G-oriented microwave solution can greatly improve network operation efficiency and implement intelligent network O&M.
Ultra-High Modulation Scheme 8KQAM
The ISM8 board supports 8192QAM (an ultra-high modulation scheme), which provides 52% more capacity than that of 256QAM (a traditional modulation scheme), thus meeting the large bandwidth requirements of the LTE era.
