The ExtremeSwitching X690 product family are high-densit y, purpose-built 10 Gb/ 10 0 Gb switches designed for high-performance enterprise and aggregation applications.
The X690 can support a range of interface speeds, including 1Gb, 10 Gb, 25Gb, 40 Gb, 50 Gb and 10 0 Gb, all in a compact 1RU form factor. This enables the ExtremeSwitching X690 to be flexibly deployed in either Enterprise LAN or high-densit y top of rack applications. The X690 can also serve as the controlling aggregation switch within Extreme's Extended Edge Switching solution.
